Mo Hissi
Cinematographer & 3D artist.
I am a self-taught 3D artist. My journey in the world of 3D art began while studying film/tv in my early 20s. While studying film, I became fascinated by the use of visual effects and the impact it had on the overall film experience. I realized that the combination of technology and art in 3D visual effects was something that truly captivated me.
I began by experimenting with free 3D software, teaching myself the basics of modeling, texturing, and animation. I spent countless hours reading tutorials and watching videos, honing my skills and learning new techniques.
As my skills improved, I started to create my own 3D models and animations, experimenting with different styles and techniques. I quickly realized that this was something I was truly passionate about and decided to pursue it as a career.
I began to take on freelance projects, working with clients to create 3D models and animations for their projects. Over the years, I have worked on a wide range of projects, from advertising and marketing to digital collectibles and album covers. I have also continued to learn and grow, staying up to date with the latest developments in the field and experimenting with new tools and technologies.
My background in film has given me an understanding of how visual effects and 3D art can enhance storytelling and I am constantly inspired by the endless possibilities of 3D art, and I am excited to see where my journey takes me next.
